Adam Martini
Adam Martini is a freelance sports writer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has more than 15 years of writing experience, most recently as the lead sports reporter for the Public Schools Athletic League (www.psal.org), the largest high school sports organization in the United States. Adam started his writing career reviewing Web sites for NetGuide Magazine and has been published by the Los Angeles Times Syndicate and in the New York Post.
Adam has worked in the fields of publishing and communications, but is most proud of his career in education. He spent eight years teaching in the NYC Department of Education. He has experience with grades three, five, seven and eight. Adam has prepared numerous lesson plans during his teaching career in the subjects of ELA, creative writing, math and science.
Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in communications from St. John's University (NY) and a Master's degree in elementary education from Queens College (NY). An avid sports fan, he roots for the New York Giants, New York Mets, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Manitoba Moose.
